The Date Difference Calculator measures the gap between any two dates. Use it to count down to an event, work out a project length, or find how many days until a deadline — with both a calendar breakdown and raw totals.
The calendar breakdown subtracts the dates and borrows from the previous month when needed, so it stays accurate across leap years and uneven months. The totals are the raw elapsed time divided by the relevant unit (days, 7-day weeks, 24-hour days, 60-minute hours).
It measures elapsed time between the two dates (the difference), so neither the start nor end day is counted as a full extra day. Add one if you need inclusive day counting.
This calculator counts all calendar days. For business-day exclusions, subtract weekends and holidays from the total days figure.
