% difference

Difference between {value_a} and {value_b}

A percentage expresses a number as a fraction of 100. Our percentage calculator handles the six most common calculations in one place, so you can switch between them without re-entering your values.

How the calculations work

  • X% of Y(X / 100) × Y
  • X is what % of Y(X / Y) × 100
  • % change((B − A) / A) × 100
  • % difference(|A − B| / ((A + B)/2)) × 100

Examples

  • 15% of 215 = 32.25
  • 30 is 20% of 150
  • Change from 80 to 100 = +25%
  • 200 increased by 10% = 220
