Estimate calories burned during exercise from your weight, activity and duration. See total calories burned and the rate per hour using MET values.
Choose your unit system, then enter your weight in kg (metric) or pounds (imperial). Pick your activity and how long you did it. The calculator uses MET values to estimate the calories burned and your hourly burn rate.

A calories burned calculator estimates the energy a workout uses from your body weight, the activity type and how long you do it, using standard MET (metabolic equivalent) values for each activity.
Calories = MET × weight (kg) × (minutes ÷ 60)
MET measures how much harder an activity is than resting (1 MET). Running is about 9.8 METs, walking 3.5. Heavier people burn more for the same activity.
They're population averages. Real burn varies with fitness, effort and body composition, so treat the result as a guide — often within 10–20% for steady exercise.
Moving more mass takes more energy, so heavier people burn more calories doing the same activity. That's why weight is part of the MET formula.
